Alrighty.. i never really liked Kim Rae Won, but in this drama i started to have a warm spot for him. Unlike other dramas where he acts dumb and silly, in Love Story in Harvard he had some serious and sweet sides which made me want to root for him.
Basically it starts with Kim Rae Won arriving from Korea to attend Harvard University, majoring in law. His first time renting an apartment, a girl knocks on his door with a kinky outfit.. obviously its a mistake so she gives a quick smile, winks and leaves (i really like how she smirks.. its so cute). It turns out she was waiting for an old man. Prostitute?? From the minute we met this girl we knew that there was going to be a spark between her and our protagonist. Anywhoo from there on, we see another guy in Rae Won's class who's also from Korea.. trying to become a lawyer as well. We sense rivalry!! From the intense questions the professor gives to the students, the guy seems very smart while Rae Won unfortunately embarrasses himself infront of the entire classroom. In order to gain the professors favor.. Rae Won seeks another law professor for advice. We then meet the girl again and it seems she also attends Harvard and is in fact a medical student!! Whoa.. definitely not a prostitute then lol. This drama is based on the struggles Rae Won has to go through between his passion of being a lawyer and his love life. I really enjoyed this drama.. definitely one of the best! (aside from Autumn Story, Super Rookie, and Successful Story of a Bright Girl)
